Sarah Stone, licensed clinical social worker, is a therapist who focuses on teens, tweens and adults. Sarah is passionate about caring for each individual she works with on their terms and focuses on client centered work. She integrates different modalities such as ACT, CBT and DBT techniques to give as many ideas and techniques as possible to help clients find access points to themselves.
Sarah has focused on depression, anxiety and trauma in her work, as well as having training in postpartum depression. She is certified in treating compassion fatigue with a focus on burnout and trauma. Sarah's approach is focused on empowering clients and being an unbiased observer and helpful presence in their lives. She is experienced in LGBTQ work and the intersection of our different (and sometimes opposing) identities.
Sarah received her bachelor's degree from George Washington University with a dual major in psychology and religion. She received her MSW from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor.
